Your Team Leaves at 6am. Do You Know Where to Send Them?
A five-minute pre-shift ranking can prevent a full day spent on the wrong block.
Morning dispatch turns a map into a labor decision. If the first assignment is wrong, every later correction costs time, travel, and attention.
Before the trucks leave
Run a quick block check, review the ranked zones, and record why the first zone is ahead of the rest. The goal is not a perfect diagnosis at 5:50am. The goal is a clear first stop that the field lead can defend.
During the first walk
Start in the highest-signal zone, capture the evidence that confirms or weakens the priority, and update the next assignment while switching costs are still low. If the zone looks normal, de-escalate it and move to the next ranked block.
Close the loop
Use the field note to set the next day's route. A short pre-shift ranking becomes valuable when it is connected to what the crew actually found, not when it remains a static map.
